As a member of The Pittsburgh Downriggers you will be sure to make new friends, learn many new fishing techniques, share plenty of fishing stories, enjoy the five outings at no cost which include food, beverages, and awards for biggest fish at each outing, recieve discounts at bait shops, discounts on boat towing memberships, and many other benefits.

Each year the club sponsors five outings for members and friends, One of which our yearly contest. Four of the outings are at Lake Erie in Pennsylvania and one outing at Lake Ontario in New York. The club takes charter trips (head boat charters) to Chesapeake Bay in the fall and Port Clinton in the spring.

The club holds a meeting once a month which includes: Free door prizes, 50/50 drawings, Rod and reel drawings, Table drawings (members only) which grows monthly if there are no winners the table sometimes has over $1500.00 in prizes. Hot dogs and beverages are sold at a very reasonable cost at the montly meeting. Once a year the club has a flea market for fishing and boating accesories.
